Sena demands Statehood, special status under Art 371

JAMMU, Nov 28: Shiv Sena J&K unit here today staged a protest demonstration demanding restoration of Statehood to J&K and special status under Article 371.
The protest was led by Manish Sahni, Shiv Sena J&K president who claimed that for the last three years, the BJP has done nothing to improve situation in J&K after the removal of Article 370.
“Even today there is an atmosphere of unrest in Kashmir and fear among the people due to terrorist incidents and targeted killings,” he maintained adding that the Election Commission should publicize complete details of new voters.
The Shiv Sena leader claimed that BJP’s dream of 25 lakh outsider voters in J&K could not be realized due to target killings in Kashmir, unemployment, economic crisis etc in J&K.
Among those who joined the protest were president Mahila Wing, Meenakshi Chibber; president Kamghar wing Raj Singh; vice president, Natwar Lal, Teetu Sehgal, Shashipal, secretary; Geeta Lakhotra, Dimple, Sunil, Vickey and Sanjeev Kumar.
