SRINAGAR, June 5: Police today said they recovered sedative drugs from a garment shop in Dooru market and arrested three persons involved in the illicit trade.
On specific information, Police raided the shop and during search 23 bottles of Rexcop, 12 strips of Proxvon and 440 gms of charas were recovered.
Farooq Ahmad Chopan son of Habibullah of Matygund Dooru, Sajad Ahmad Malik son of Abdullah Malik of Batagund Dooru and Ghulam Nabi Khan son of Ali Mohammad Khan of Arabal Dooru, were arrested for being involved in selling these drugs among the youth of the area.
An FIR under narcotics Act was registered and investigation has been started.
