Srinagar, Oct 15: The Secretary to the Government for Health & Medical Education (H&ME) Department, Bhupinder Kumar today released the maiden issue of GMC Srinagar’s Journal of Integrative Medicine and Public Health (JIMPH).
The JIMPH is a peer reviewed, a multidisciplinary medical research journal published by the Department of Community Medicine GMC Srinagar.
The issue was released at a simple but impressive function at Government Medical College, Srinagar in presence of Dr. Samia Rashid Principal and Dean of GMC Srinagar, Dr. Arshad Hussain of the Department of Psychiatry, and Dr. S. Muhammad Salim Khan, professor, and head, department of Community Medicine GMC Srinagar who’s editor-in-chief of the research journal.
GMC said that the journal will be published six-monthly and shall cater to the publishing needs of scientists and researchers from diverse fields related to health.
It is to be noted here that the JIMPH is published by Wolters Kluwer Medknow, a global publishing house, and has been permitted by the Health and Medical Education department as the official journal of Community Medicine GMC Srinagar. The journal can be accessed at www.jimph.org.
