JAMMU, June 15: BSF and police today conducted massive search operations along Manyari Post in Hiranagar sector of Kathua district along the International Border (IB) after some suspicious movement was recorded in the surveillance camera last night.
Official sources said BSF, police and Village Defence Committees conducted massive searches in the area leading to National Highway from Manyari along the IB after some movement was noticed on Pakistan side of the border last night, which was also recorded on one of the surveillance cameras.
However, sources said, there was no infiltration from the IB and searches were conducted as precautionary measure.
The search operations were called off this evening as there was no trace of any kind of intrusions on the Indian side, they added.
Senior officers of police also joined the search operation.
