MENDHAR, Nov 5: Taking cognizance of alleged violation of Model Code of Conduct, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate Mendhar today issued notices to Congress and National Conference for opening their election offices in Government buildings.
The National Conference and Congress have opened their election offices in the PHE building and a PWD Residential Quarter, respectively in Mendhar where the party flags were also fluttering.
Acting on the complaint of alleged violation of Model Code of Conduct and misuse of public property, SDM Ramesh Kumar issued notices to both the parties and also brought the matter into the knowledge of Deputy Commissioner Poonch for necessary action in this regard.
