SBI pensioners discuss demands

JAMMU, Dec 16: The State Bank of India Pensioners (Chandigarh circle) J&K Zonal unit organized a meet at its zonal premises, here today.
The meeting was inaugurating by A K Jain Dy General Manager, J&K Zonal Office, who appreciated the efforts made by the seniors of the State bank family in attending to needs of their ageing colleagues and assured of all possible help in this regard.
Jai Ram Gupta, general secretary of the circle association and vice president of the All India State Bank Pensioners Federation apprised the participants of the development in Supreme Court case and efforts being made for seeking improvements in SBI retired Employees Medical Benefit Scheme. He thanked the circle and zonal management in taking care of their retired colleagues. Gupta exhorted the pensioners to give strength to pensioner’s movement by enrolling as members.
S L Sharma, one of the founder members of the circle association was presented a shawl. The Deputy General Manager presented gifts to the pensioners who had attained the age of 75 years.
