JAMMU, Aug 5: The State Bank of India (SBI) Jammu today donated an ambulance (Tata Winger Medical Van) to Vitasta Hospital a Medical and Charitable Trust.
The ambulance was donated to the Hospital under the Corporate Social Responsibility Scheme of the Bank.
As per a release, the ambulance was handed over to Vitasta Health Care Trust by Kumar Rajan, General Manager, NWIII Chandigarh Circle SBI in an impressive function held in the premises of the Hospital.
The function was attended by Arvind Priya, Dy General Manager of SBI J&K Zone and Rajesh Anand, Regional Manager.
Dr Shadi Lal Kachroo, Director of Vitasta Hospital while expressing his compliments to SBI for this noble gesture assured that the ambulance will be made available to all the needy patients on charitable basis.
Kumar Rajan said the Bank will be always ready to help such institutions which are serving mankind in general and weaker sections of society in particular.
The function among others was attended by Dr V K Kachroo, Dr B N Thusoo, Dr Vijay Koul, Dr Sanjay Bhat, B K Bhat, Sunil and others.
R K Bhat secretary of the Trust presented the vote of thanks on the occasion and highlighted the role of the Trust.
