Jasrota is the capital city of the jasrotia rajputs. The palace of the Jasrotia’s still exists and reminds us of of Jasrota’s history. It is situated on the banks of river Ujh around 60km from Jammu.
But from the last few decades no body is paying attention to save this dying fort
The concerned ministry and administration is requested to allocate adequate funds to renovate Jasrota fort and many other forts like it such as Bhau fort, Heranagar fort,Ramnagar fort and declare them as tourist palaces.
