JAMMU, Jan 15: In a function here, today former Minister, Sat Sharma (CA) along with Chairman Social Justice Standing Committee and Corporator Ward No 12, Jeet Angral laid foundation stone of canopy hut at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park in Ward No. 12 today.
During the function Sat Pal Sharma and Jeet Angral distributed the congratulation letter to old age and widow pension beneficiaries of the Ward. He also handed over domicile certificate and economically weaker section certificate to the beneficiaries of the Ward.
On this occasion while addressing the media, the Chairman said that this canopy can be used by women of the Ward. He said that it is his dream to continue to do ward work along with social work to make Ward 12 as a model ward of Jammu city. He also complimented the former minister for gracing the function with his presence.
Former minister appreciated the development work done by the Chairman in the Ward and said canopy was missing in the park, the work of which has been started today. He said that this will provide shade and relief to the residents of the ward during Summer season.
On the occasion BJP State publicity secretary, Ayodya Gupta, Mandal president, Keshav Chopra, State BJPSCM, vice president Krishan Kumar Digra SCM Jammu West president, Yash Pal Shivgotra, district secretary, Jatinder Kour and Mandal team including Surjit Singh Chib, Ramesh Thakyal, Anil Angral, Asha Devi, Kanta Devi, Manmohan Sharma, Swarm Samyal, Madan Lal, Labha Ram and Tarsem Kumar were also present.
