JAMMU, July 1: Former Minister and senior BJP leader, Sat Sharma here today inaugurated newly installed transformer of 400 KVA capacity at Ward number 33.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said the transformer was indeed a long pending demand of the locals which has now been fulfilled and same will provide a major relief to the inhabitants in the scorching summers as the earlier transformer was of low capacity and caused major disruption including low voltage and frequent power cuts.
He also appreciated the efforts of PDD and IRCON for looking into the problems of people on priority and said that other Wards in Jammu West where power problem persists are also kept on priority and with the help of the concerned department their problems will also be solved.
District BJP President, Ayodhya Gupta, Dr Pardeep Mahotra, Munish Khajuria and others were also present on the occasion.
