JAMMU, Oct 2: Sanjay Tickoo’s book Pooja Archana hits stands today.
The book was released at simple but impressive function held in Minerwa School premises at Lower Muthi by I K Raina, social activist, Hira Lal Bhat senior BJP leader, Rocky Randip, Kuldeep Bhan and Manoj Dhar the social activists.
The speakers on the occasion highly acclaimed the book and termed it a good initiative on the part of Sanjay Tickoo. Pooja Archana is a book containing the essential Mantras, Sanatana Fundamentals, all Chalisas, all Aartis and all Bhajans as well as basic religious practices.
In his address Sanjay Tickoo said that the need was felt to present the day to day prayers in a single cover. He expressed the hope that this book can radically alter our outlook and lead us to the process of continuous self improvement and enrichment of our life.
The author an educationist and president of Vijeshwar Devasthan Trust Bijebehara, Anantnag has dedicated the book to his parents Gunwati Tickoo and Jia Lal Tickoo (Dembi). He said it is right time to present this master piece to next generation.
Speaking on the occasion, I K Raina and HL Bhat said that the book is of immense importance and it is a small religious guide as well. It will be of great significance for younger generation to link them to their roots imbibed in their religion and culture.
