Kidnapped minor girl rescued, abductors arrested

JAMMU, Oct 2: Satwari Police rescued a kidnapped minor girl and arrested two abductors.
As per police sources, on September 26 this year, a complaint was lodged by a man with Police Station Satwari stating therein that his minor daughter has been kidnapped on September 24, when she had gone to her school.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR Number 180/2022 under section 363 IPC was registered at Police Station Satwari and investigation started.
During the course of the investigation, a team from Police Station Satwari led by SHO Inspector Sameer Jiilani and assisted by Incharge Police Post Chatha PSI Harjinder Paul Singh under the supervision of SDPO South Sachit Sharma did strenuous efforts and finally rescued the kidnapped minor girl from Punjab and arrested two abductors.
The arrested persons were identified as Rajinder Kumar alias Ritik, son of Romesh Kumar and Gourav Kumar, son of Vijay Kumar, both residents of Hakkal Chatha District Jammu.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
