Samba Police works out murder case

SAMBA, Mar 25: Samba Police led by Inspector Arun Jamwal, SHO Police Station Bari Brahmana under the supervision of Shri Israr Khan, SSP Samba and S M Jangral, Dy SP, SDPO Bari Brahmana worked out the murder case of Santosh, son of Dinesh Mahato of Mahanadah district Vaishali Bihar by arresting accused Ram Babu, son of Ramashish Ram of Daud Nagar, district Vaishali, Bihar today who was at large after committing the offence.
The Police has also recovered the weapon of offence on the instances of accused person.
It may be recalled that late last night Santosh Kumar a pencil factory workers was murdered by his associate at Bari Brahmana after having a tiff with his other associate Rambabu who was also from his home State and was working in pencil factory at Bari Brahmana.
They were also sharing the same room in industrial area Bari Brahmna.
Meanwhile in continuous drive against the illegal trafficking of bovine animals, a police party of Police Station Ghagwal headed by inspector Chaman Gorka SHO P/S Ghagwal under the direct supervision of Israr Khan Senior Superintendent of Police Samba intercepted the truck bearing registration No JK02T/7660 near Jatwal this morning.
The vehicle was found loaded with 10 bovine animals (oxen) which were being transported illegally without permission from Punjab to Jammu. The inmates of the truck however managed to escape from the spot.
A case FIR No 20/2013 U/S 188 RPC 2/3 Cruelty towards Animals Act and 184 M V Act has been registered at Police Station Ghagwal and investigation started.
