SAMBA, Dec 13: In its continuous drive against the illegal trafficking of bovine animals, Samba Police headed by Inspector Satish Kumar SHO P/S Ramgarh under the supervision of Shri Ashok Singh DySP SDPO Vijaypur, during Naka Checking at Gho-Brahmna Ramgarh intercepted a TATA Mobile bearing Registration No. JK02W-8221 loaded with 04 bovine animals which were being smuggled towards Udhampur.
The vehicle was seized and the accused Gurmeet Singh, son of Tara Singh R/o Jerada Ramgarh was arrested, by the Police. Accordingly, Case FIR No. 101/2013 u/s 188 RPC, 2/3 Cruelty towards Animals Act was registered at P/S Ramgarh and investigation carried on.
