SAMBA, June 16: District Police Samba has arrested three drug peddlers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations of Ramgarh and Samba and recovered 3 gm heroin (Chitta) and 120 intoxicant capsules from their possession.
A Police Party of P/s Ramgarh headed by Inspector Vikram Singh, SHO Ramgarh under the supervision of S. Baljeet Singh, SDPO, Vijaypur while performing vehicle checking duty during surprise Naka laid at Raika Morh, Ramgarh intercepted a Motorcycle bearing Registration. Number JK20-9906. During frisking of motor cyclist and pillion rider, a total of three gms heroin (Chitta) was recovered from the possession of both persons identified as Akash Kumar S/o Sat Paul, R/o Tamore, Vijaypur and Rajesh Kumar, S/o Rattan Chand R/o Bandrali, Bishnah, Jammu. Both the drug peddlers were arrested on the spot and contraband item were also seized.
In this regard a case FIR No. 32/2019 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at P/s Ramgarh and investigation started.
In another case district police Samba has arrested drug peddler under the jurisdiction of P/s Samba and recovered 120 intoxicant Capsules (Parvon Spasplus) from his possession.
A police party of PP Supwal headed by SI Tariq Ahmed, I/C PP Supwal under the supervision of Shiv Dev Singh, SHO P/s Samba and Deepak Digra, DySP Hqrs Samba during naka checking at Barian, Supwal intercepted one person who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During frisking of the said person, 120 intoxicant capsules (Parvon Spasplus) were recovered from his possession. The accused person identified as Ashok Kumar S/o Krishan Lal R/o Gagore, Vijaypur has been arrested on the spot and contraband item was also seized.
In this regard a case FIR No. 123/2019 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered in P/S Samba and investigation started. The arrests were made under the overall supervision of SSP, Samba, Dr Koshal Kumar Sharma.
