JAMMU, June 16:To pro mote the Duggar Traditional Culture of J&K, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) staged its 265th Series Musical play ‘Sukhi Parivar’ in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production as part of its regular feature at Durga Bhawan, here.
The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest, VK Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of lndia; Dr AC Bhagat, Former Chief Officer Department of Animal Husbandry, J&K Government, RP Amle. Event Director and JK Raina, Freelancer Producer Director Films were the guests of honour.
BLSKS underlined the importance of staging such plays in all parts of the State to generate awareness among the masses about various social evils through theatre/drama which are still very powerful medium of communication.
The music was assisted by Raju Bajgal, Music lnstructor.
The Musical Play “Sukhi Parivar” was written, produced and directed by M L Dogra, Chairman, BLSKS.
Earlier, Usha Handoo, Troupe leader STAP presented the welcome address.
The singers, musicians, actors and students of Music and Computer Institute who performed in the musical play were Usha Handoo, KK Joshi, MC Kotwal, Kuldeep Raj, Bindiya Arora, Sunil Kumar, Deevam Jandiyal, Mahi, Bhumika Chib, Azen AIi, Surinder Venna, Aryan Venna, sumeeta Bhat.
