JAMMU, Oct 28: Rashtra Sevika Samiti (RSS) Tarunee Vibhag, Jammu Mahanagar celebrated a programme on the life of Bhagini Nivedita a disciple of Swami Vivekananda . She was an Irish Lady who served this country till her death. She worked for health and education of poor and down trodden people of this country and freedom of this country.
Prerak Pransang, story of Bhayee Kanhaiya ,untold facts of Bhagini Nivedita, were performed. Prizes were also given away to the young girls who stood first, second and third in paintinting competition held on October 26 2021. Om Bhuria and Sushma were the Judges. The programme was held on the life of Bhagini Nivedita. On the occasion Dy. Mayor Poornima Sharma was the chief guests while Mamta Singh and Satisha were the spokes persons. In her speech, Dy Mayor appealed the young generation to join Sevika Samiti and serve the parents society and nation as well . At the end Shiny Sharma Mahanagar Tarunee Pramukh complimented the guests.
