DODA, Oct 28: A Naib Tehsildar was thrashed and humiliated by DDC member here.
As per reports, Naib Tehsildar Chilly Pingal Tasleem was thrashed and humiliated by DDC member Mehraj Malik.
In a video, which had gone viral on social media, a DDC member was seen catching the official’s collar and dragging him in presence of his subordinates.
However, a complaint was lodged with Gandoh Police Station in this regard, but no case was registered when last reports were compiled.
Meanwhile, J&K Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) President Mohammad Rafique Rather has strongly condemned the incident and urged the J&K Government to initiate legal action against the erring DDC member so that such incidents are not repeated in future.
