RAJOURI, Apr 6: The Government has sanctioned a relief amount of Rs 25 lakh in favour of Corona Warrior victim hailing from Thanamandi area of Rajouri district today.
Cheif Medical Officer (CMO) Rajouri, Dr Shamim-unisa Bhatti along with BMO Darhal, Dr Nagina Kouser, ZMO,PHC, Thanamandi Dr Shabab Mirza visited the house of Late Mohd Tahir, Pharmacist, son of Ghulam Hussain, resident of Behrote in Tehsil Thanamandi who was a Corona victim and died on October 15, 2020, during Covid duty.
They presented a sanction letter of Rs 25 lakhs to the widow of Mohd Tahir, Safia Begum and her childrens, in presence of “Sarpanch” Halqa-Tota Morha and others.
The family members and locals of the area have lauded the gesture of Health Department and Government in helping the family in this crucial time.
