RRC visits migrant camps, interacts with inmates

JAMMU, Oct 6: To have at and on spot study of migrants problems, Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, Y P Suman today paid a visit of migrant TRTs at Muthi and Buta Nagar and interacted with the inmates there.
He also visited the Swami Kumar Ji Geeta Satsangh Ashram where a memorandum was submitted to him by the devotees.
The memorandum demanded construction of a Satsangh Hall and the concrete structure for the Ashram. The Ashram management informed RRC of the functioning of the Ashram which besides propagating Dharma by holding Satsangh , seminars etc is also working in social field. He was informed that Ashram  has a library of over 300 books. He was accompanied by DC Relief, AC Relief and other officers.
On the occasion, Nana Ji Raina ex Sarpanch, Sahab Ji and  Mr Bali highlighted problems of the migrants before him.
Later RRC held a public Darbar in TRT which was organized by Migrant Welfare Committee, Muthi Phase IInd led by T N Kaul its president. During the public darbar a charter of demands was handed over to him demanding construction of shopping complex at Muthi, bifurcation and allotment of TRT flats to the next kin in case the person on whose name the quarter exits has died. The RRC assured that all grievances will be settled. M K Pandit, M G Sharma, C L Pandita, Chand JI, King Jee and Kuldeep Kissu spoke on the occasion.
Later he also visited Buta Nagar Camp where Ashok Ji Dhar and Hari Krishan apprised him of the problems of camp inmates.
