KATHUA, June 28: The Railway Passengers Welfare Association, (RPWA) Hiranagar complimented the Central Government for starting various Railway development projects in J&K to ease the problems of passengers in the UT.
President of The Association, Ram Tirth Khajuria and its general secretary. Vijay Kumar at a press conference today complimented the Railway Ministry for sanctioning Divisional Railway Manager Office at Jammu, Adarsh Railway Station at Hiranagar.
They also highlighted the demands including execution of construction works on DRM office at Jammu, construction works on Railway Line from Kathua to Kishtwar via Mahanpur, Badholi and Bani, completion of Double lane railway line from Pathankot to Jammu and completion of pending bridge on the line, providing of all facilities of Adarsh Railway Station at Hiranagar and Kathua, establishment of Railway workshop at Kathua and starting of high speed new train in J&K, renaming of Hiranagar Railway Station on the name Pt, Girdhari Lal Dogra, additional DMU from Pathankot to Jammu .
Among others Ajay Khajuria, Som Raj, and Arnav were also present in the press conference.
