JAMMU, June 28: Senior JKAP leader, Vikram Malhotra today said that young people are the soul of any political party.
Welcoming the youth into the party folds Malhotra said: “We are happy that large numbers of youth are joining J&K Apni Party (JKAP) with a hope of getting their issues like employment, development and education redressed.”
Referring to the sufferings of businessmen, hoteliers and tourism sector in Jammu, he said that JKAP is equally concerned about these problems and will take every possible step to address them.
The JKAP leader also said that equitable development and empowerment of Jammu and Kashmir regions is one of the important agendas of Apni Party.
He expressed concern over the unscheduled power cuts in several areas of Jammu in this hot weather and demanded that electricity bills should be waived off for the lockdown period.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Former Minister, Manjit Singh, Former Legislator, Vijay Bakaya and others.
Large numbers of youth from Jammu West who joined the Apni Party were Raj Kumar Lalotra, Darshan Lal Gupta, Shiva Kumar, Gulshan Gupta, Hardeep Singh, Harjot Singh, Amit Sharma and others.
