Kavinder inaugurates blood donation camp

JAMMU, June 28: Former Deputy Chief Minister and Ex-MLA Gandhi Nagar, Kavinder Gupta, along with Vinay Gupta, BJP Jammu district president, today inaugurated one-day blood donation camp at Greater Kailash in Gandhi Nagar Assembly Constituency.
This camp was organized by Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Gandhi Nagar Mandal, wherein 50 youth donated their blood under the leadership of Arun Dev Jamwal, BJYM Jammu Kashmir president, Anil Kumar BJYM president Jammu district and Monu Salathia, president BJYM Gandhi Nagar Mandal.
Speaking on the occasion, Kavinder Gupta said that the Yuva Morcha has been doing great service to the mankind by organizing such blood donation camps, besides undertaking various other activities aimed at helping the needy and the poor. He appealed the youth to generously donate blood as it can save precious lives, which is one of the best services to the people.
Urging the social and religious organizations to make collective efforts in bringing reforms in the society, Kavinder Gupta said that the social evils like drug addiction and female feticide are spreading fast in the society, which need to be weeded out to ensure a prosperous and progressive future.
He stressed on the need for educating the younger generation about the rich Indian values and culture, so that they remain connected with their roots and contribute for the development of mankind.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included Monu Salathia, Arjun Suri, Surjeet Sonu, Ishant Gupta and dozens of BJYM activists.
