KATRA, May 18: A one day free medical camp for eye and ENT check-up was organized today by Rotary Club here in association with Rotary Eye Hospital (REH) Udhampur.
About 200 patients were examined by a team of doctors from REH Udhampur and free medicines were distributed to the needy patients.
Some patients were selected for cataract surgery which will be organized at REH Udhampur on discounted prices.
The patients were examined by Dr. Ankur Goel (Eye) Dr. Neha Deol, Bushan Lal Bhat and assisted by other technical staff.
The camp was inaugurated by SHO Katra, Pardeep Gupta & Councellor of Ward no. 2 Ravinder Singh Nag.
The camp was held under the overall supervision of Chairman of REH Udhampur, D.N Sharma and was facilitated by President Rotary Club Katra, Raj Kumar Dubey; Secretary, Anil Verma; Cashier, Ramnik Sharma and Club Members, Surinder Dubey, Raj Kumar Padha, Jatinder Pujari, Munish Kapoor, Rakesh Kumar, Deepak Gupta, Ankush Gupta, Sanjay Sharma and Manoj Sadhotra.
