JAMMU, Apr 3: Terming Rohingyas and Bangladeshis a threat to Jammu, former Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa, had demanded their deportation immediately.
In a press communique issued here the former MLC said that the recent episode, wherein, Rohingyas have been found involved with the Tablighi Jamaat—that has played a key role in spreading the dreaded novel Corona Virus across the country—has exposed their nefarious designs. Randhawa said that all those who were part of the Tablighi Jamaat at Markaz in Delhi should be immediately arrested and kept in isolation without any treatment.
Randhawa further said that when the entire nation was preparing to fight against the spread of novel Corona Virus the members of this Tablighi Jamaat had gathered in large numbers got infected and became carrier to different states which is a punishable act. Moreover, they did not come forward to reveal their travel history and now the police is tracking them out.
He said that the previous regimes in a planned manner had allowed these people to settle in Jammu with an aim to change the demography of the region and the people in Jammu are demanding their ouster since long. “It is the right time that they all should be thrown out of Jammu as the Union Territory of J&K is a sensitive place and the presence of such elements is a grave threat to the communal harmony as well as the internal security of the nation”, Randhawa added.
He said that the entire area where these Rohingyas and Bangladeshis are putting up in Jammu must be sealed from all sides to ensure that none of them go out and sooner the situation turns normal they should be deported.
Quoting some news report where the members of this Tablighi Jamaat has misbehaved with the nursing staff at Delhi, Randhawa said that it reflects their mindset and they deserves no treatment on humanitarian grounds.
