JAMMU, June 28: The deputation of Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme (RNTCP), a Centrally sponsored national programme to curb tuberculosis in country lead by Kuldeep Sharma president, All RNTCP Contractual Employees Association Jammu Division met Director Health Services Jammu Dr Baljeet Pathania and apprised him of the discrimination regarding the distribution of salaries among staff engaged in entire Jammu division.
The aggrieved employees were demanding release of the revised salary as per the latest guidelines of RNTCP Centre TB Division Ministry of Health Government of India which was to be implemented from April 2013 but has not been implemented till date, resulting approximately 65 contractual employees of RNTCP of Jammu division being debarred from their genuine right, where as the same guidelines were being implemented in Kashmir Division and the contractual staff of same programme.
The contractual employees of other districts including Doda, Poonch Rajouri, Kathua, Samba, Udhumpur, Reasi, Kishtwar and Ramban were also present.
