UDHAMPUR, Jan 15: An interactive meeting was organized here today at District Police Lines which was chaired by SSP Udhampur, Joginder Singh.
The meeting was attended by more than 50 retired cops of District Udhampur.
During interaction, retired SSPs Anil Magotra, Mahadeep Singh Jamwal and Mohammad Aslam raised demands on behalf of all the retired cops.
SSP Udhampur listened to the issues of retired cops patiently and assured them that their genuine issues will be taken up with higher authorities for early redressal.
He sought cooperation from the retired cops to help in-service Police officers and officials to enhance their investigating skills and the retired cops assured to offer their service to the Police Department as and when required.
The SSP Udhampur further said that doors of District Police are always open for the retired Police personnel for redressing their grievances.
The meeting was attended by Additional SP Udhampur, Anwaar-ul-Haq; DySP DAR DPL Udhampur, Shahid Nahiem and other Police officers and officials.
