JAMMU, Jan 15: BJP Kashmir Displaced District (KDD) today convened a meeting of its activists, who have served their term as Panchs, Sarpanchs, councillors, corporaters and BDCs in Kashmir, at party office Kachi Chawni, here, which was presided over by Chand Jee Bhat ,district president KDD. Ajey Bharti , ex.MLC spokesperson & district Prabari and Hira Lal Bhat Seh Prabari also attended the meeting.
Chand Jee Bhat in his welcome address said Panchs, Sarpanchs, councillors, corporaters BDCs have performed to the best of expectations of the people of their constituencies, braving every risk and challenge fearlessly. Despite difficulties of accommodation and security, they didn’t look backwards but marched ahead with an agenda of development, peace and harmony, by following Modi Mantra of Sab ka Saath, Sab ka Vikas , Sab ka Vishwas & Sab ka Preyas.
The participant shared their experiences frankly and all of them lauded the people for their cooperation in executing developmental works.
Hira Lal Bhat , Seh Prabari KDD while addressing the meeting said the PRIs showed courage, fortitude and dedication and their yeoman’s job in executing developmental works and also protecting the interests of Kashmiri Displaced Hindus of their constituencies in Kashmir. He said they have proved to be real ambassadors of BJP and PM Modi in Kashmir.
While addressing Ajey Bharti ex.MLC and Prabari KDD said they worked with great dedication and won the trust of the majority community people of their constituencies with their sincere and honest approach. He said that their efforts to restore, renovate revive and protect temples and remove encroachments of Hindu religious properties like temple land and cremation grounds at some places in Kashmir, despite all odds will be recorded in annals of history in golden letters.
Rajiv Pandita district vice president presented a detailed report on Anantnag Parliamentary constituency.
M. L. Bhat district general secretary conducted the proceedings of the meeting.
A.K.Raina, R.K.Pandita, O.N.Razdan, Vimal Raina, Sanjay Bhat, Anju Koul, Peelu Moti Pandita, Beauty Koul, Babita Bhat, Baloo Gosoami, Manoj Pandita, Sanjay Kumar Pandita, Subash Kachroo and A.K.Pandita were among others present.
