JAMMU, Oct 26: A monthly meeting of All J&K ReT Teachers Forum was held under the chairmanship of State president Vinod Sharma wherein apex body members besides district presidents of the Forum participated.
Sharma on the behalf of ReT Teachers Forum appealed the State and Central Government to release fund under SSA so that several months salary of regularized ReT Teachers under SSA be released. He said that ReT Teachers are without salary for last three to eight months in different districts of the State and are facing a lot of problems.
He also appealed the Education and Finance Department to take up the matter with the concerned HRD Ministry for release of funds under SSA so that the teachers may get their salaries at the earliest.
Others who spoke on the occasion were Lekh Raj Parihar, Sukhdev Singh, Subash Chander, Dharm Paul, Joginder Kumar, Jasbir Singh, Gurcharan Singh, Inderjit Singh, Ravi Sharma, Rajinder Singh, Ravinder , Rajit, Surjeet, Manzoor Malik, Om Parkash, Shabir Ahmed etc.
