JAMMU, Oct 26: BJP MLA from Bishnah Ashwani Sharma today called upon the people to vote for development in upcoming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir and elect first ever BJP Government in the State just like they have done in Haryana.
Addressing a massive public meeting at village Saidgarh this morning, Mr Sharma said the people of the country including that of Jammu and Kashmir have united during last five months tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and decided to form first BJP Government in the State. He declared that people of Bishnah constituency have also made up their mind to support Mr Modi and the BJP.
Asserting that the State Government has completely failed in providing basic facilities to the people of the State including border areas, refugees, farmers etc, he said the NC-Congress Government indulged in massive corruption, nepotism and favouritism and declared that both these parties will be wiped out in the Assembly elections.
“The Government has failed to resolve the issues of border people, refugees, farmers and others. The people will teach NC and Congress a lesson in the elections,’’ Sharma said, adding that the BJP Government only in Jammu and Kashmir can do justice with people of all regions and all sections of society.
Ashwani said village Saidgarh has also witnessed tremendous development in terms of power system education, irrigation and has been converted from backward to modern village during his 12 years tenure. He added that Bishnah Assembly constituency has been made a model segment.
“Some of the development works, which couldn’t be taken up during this term, would be completed in the next term,’’ Sharma declared.
He said the State Government has completely failed to provide even basic facilities to the people of border areas, who had to frequently migrate from their houses in view of Pakistan firing. He added that the BJP will take care of all problems of the border people.
