ReT Forum demands release of salary, regularization

JAMMU, May 22: J&K ReT Teachers Forum has demanded immediate release of pending SSA salary as teachers who are not converted to Grade II, including under graduate teachers, are without salary for the last five months and are on the verge of starvation.
In a press statement, issued by the Forum State president, Vinod Sharma, it was appealed to the Governor administration to release the pending salary of these teachers as they are suffering badly even on the eve of holy month of Ramzan.
He also appealed the Governor administration to issue the order of Conversion to Teachers Grade II in favour of undergraduate teachers as they have been waiting for the same for a long time so that their salary issue may get resolved. He also urged the authorities of Education Department to initiate the regularisation process of ReTs who have completed 5 years of service period.
