POONCH, Jan 4: The residents of Tehsil Haveli met Ex-MLC Dr Shehnaz Ganai here today and apprised her about the issues being faced by them.
The residents told her about the hardships they are facing due to the unpleasant weather conditions in Poonch especially unscheduled power cut, scarcity of drinking water, ration, kerosene oil and LPG gas supply.
They asked Ex-MLC to intervene in the matter and appeal the district administration for restoration all such basic amenities.
She appealed the district administration to look into the problems of Haveli public and make sure for their early redressal especially unscheduled power cut and supply of other basic amenities to public in this severe cold weather.
She told them that the composite culture of Poonch is the main essence and strength of people and it makes all Poonchities outstanding and distinguished in the State.
Ganai told them the beauty of democracy lies in unity in diversity and they are the one who carry forward this inspiration among next generations.
