JAMMU, July 28: KC Colony Welfare Committee, CRPF Hqrs held a function, wherein the residents highlighted their grievances before Minister of Sports, Raman Bhalla.
The residents discussed their problems of the area with Raman Bhalla, who visited the area. On the occasion, Surjeet Singh read the memorandum which was presented to the Minister seeking for its early redressal.
The utmost problems which the residents of the colony faced included shortage of power and frequents cuts of electricity and demanded for additional transformer for the colony.
Besides they also apprised the Minister for change of voting centre from Channi-Himmat to Preet Nagar nearest to their locality, removal of the poultry farm from colony which is injurious to health.
Others present on the occasion included S Assa Singh, Kuldeep Singh Isher, T P Singh, Devinder Singh, Babu Ram, Marbinder Singh, Mozu, Gurnain Singh and shopkeepers of the area.
