Srinagar, Jan 13: A residential house was among the many structures that were gutted in fire incidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said fire broke out in the residential house of Abdul Ahad Magray son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Bagwanpora, Noorbagh, resulting in complete damage to the upper storey of the building.
The spokesman said during the intervening night of 11/12.01.2014, fire broke out in the Shopping Complex of Wali Mohammad Ganie son of Ghulam Qadir Ganie resident of Khurhama, Ganderbal at Mansbal Borsoo and damaged a shoe shop and a Kiryana shop.
An office of Sheep Farm, Barwalla in district Ganderbal was damaged during the intervening night of 11/12.01.2014.
Fire broke out in the shop of Ghulam Mohammad Mir at Kralgund, Handwara, in the jurisdiction of police station Kralgund, due to which two shops in the first floor of the building were completely gutted.
The spokesman said no loss of life or injury was reported in these incidents.
