JAMMU, Jan 20: The residents of Resham Ghar Colony today alleged that they are being supplied contaminated drinking water from Bamba pipeline for last one month.
In a statement issued here today they said that despite brining the matter in the notice of concerned PHE engineers they have failed to solve the problem. The residents apprehend the spread of epidemic in the area in case the problem was not looked into immediately.
The residents warned that in case the authorities not solve the problem, they will be forced to resort to agitation.
The signatories of the statement are Rasal Singh, Swarn Singh, Ram Saran and Balo Devi.
