JAMMU, Jan 20: Conference of School Principals (CSP) 2015 concluded at Jodhamal Public School with all its grandeur.
172 Principals and Directors from all over India congregated for this CSP to discuss the Agenda- ” Assessments-A Compelling Priority”.
The Conference started with the lighting of the lamp by Nirmal Sharma, Commissioner Secretary , School Education ,  Nandan Kuthiala, Trustee Jodhamal Public School and the Teacherrsity Consultant and Director Principals Forum, Col B S Braria.
The opening session was taken up by Dimple Anil from TeacherSity and she made it very clear that the Formative Assessment has to be a continuous one and the Corrective measures are to be taken simultaneously.
Sanjay Dutta, Principal Maharana Mewar Public School, Udaipur  was the moderator for this session and the session became highly interactive since she gave enough space to all intellectuals with loads of experience.
The second session was taken by Col Braria on why should we assess, what should we assess, how should we assess, when should we assess and how do we use the assessment results.
This session was also highly interactive and Dr. Sukram  Khokker Principal, BSF Sr. Sec. School  Jammu was the moderator for this session and this session saw the interaction among the most elite intellectuals of our country.
Robin Attfield from U.K. as the third resource person spoke on Recording, Collating and Interpreting Data. He stressed on the data to be authentic it has to be collected continuously and  by using variety of tools and techniques we can  assess the learner’s progress of learning.
Shailender Singh Bhandari, Principal Rishikesh Public School, Dehradun was the moderator for this session and he summed up the discussions in a very humorous and interactive way.
The open house was taken by Om Pathak the Director TeacherSity, New Delhi.
The closing session was chaired by the Director School Education, Ch. R A Inqalabi and Principal Jodhamal Trilok Singh Bist closed the CSP with an activity on how actions speak more than words and asked all delegates to take the content of the CSP to their schools and percolate down the same to their teachers.
The vote of thanks was presented by Col Braria, Convener TeacherSity. Priyanka Singh of Jodhamal took over as the master of ceremony.
