For the last 6-8 months, a number of requests have been made to the Govt for timely release of 6% DA instalment and its arrears which is due in favour of the State employees and pensioners.
In fact, this instalment was due in favour of employees wef july 2015 and now one more DAInstalment has become due. It may be mentioned here that there is a provision of finances in Annual Budget 2015-16 which can be used for paying arrears. There is no justified logic with Govt to make delay everytime. This DA in fact is the financial relief against swollen dearness in the market.
If any employee has to repay the dues will anybody wait so generously? Answer is no.The same shall be immediately deducted from his next month salary. The Govt should direct the Finance Deptt to release 6%DA along with arrears in cash. Besides,the Govt should also consider for enhancement of medical allowance from Rs300/-to Rs 1500/-per month.
