Jammu: The Government has decided to start the online registration of vehicles through dealers from Nov 1, 2017.
In this regard, Regional Transport Officer, Deep Raj today chaired a meeting of all Automobile dealers of Jammu province.
The meeting was attended by ARTO Jammu, Neeraj Kumar, NIC Scientist, Rakesh Gupta and officials/officers of the Motor Vehicle Department.
Speaking at the meeting, RTO said that the department is all set to launch online registration of vehicles at dealer’s end.
He informed that the switch over to this mode of obtaining registration certificate for new vehicles will start from November 01, 2017.
