reasi, Feb 20: Talent hunt solo singing competition ‘Choona Hai Aasman Season–5’, under Civic Action Programme was organized by District Police Reasi at DIET Auditorium, here.
Around 40 contestants, both male and female, from all parts of district Reasi participated in the competition.
In senior male category, Chaman Lehari claimed Ist position, Sandeep Singh bagged 2nd position and Pardeep Kumar won 3rd position, while in senior female category, Jyoti Devi of Govt High School Katra won 1st position, while Palak of GHSS Katra and Priti Devi of Govt. Middle School Mari clinched 2nd and 3rd position respectively
In junior male category, Sourab Singh, Govt. MS Chubi, Nassarullah Bhat, Govt Middle School Ganjote Mahore and Atiq-Ul-Rehman, Mountain Convent School Mahore claimed first, second and third position respectively, while in junior female category, Riya Manhas won 1st place, Smile, SVN HS Katra claimed 2nd place and the third place was bagged by Neha Rajput, GHSS Arnas.
The position holders were rewarded by the chief guest, Major General, BV Rao, GOC CIF (U) Reasi, who was accompanied by Sujit Kumar, SSP Reasi; Randeep Sharma, Commandant CRPF 126th Bn; Sanjay Singh Rana, Additional SP Reasi and Ravi Kala, Dy. Commandant CRPF 126th Bn.
There were three judges who performed as the duties of jury members.
