Nirmal Singh lambasts Congress

JAMMU, Feb 20: BJP Legislature Party leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh coming down heavily on Congress and its like minded parties for anti-national rhetoric has said that Bharatiya Janata Party is committed for upholding the integrity, sovereignty and communal harmony of the nation.
Addressing a public meeting at Dhanu Parol in Billawar Dr. Nirmal Singh said that frustrated Congress has lost its moorings after losing power at the Centre and is indulging in divisive propaganda in the country. He said that under ten years long UPA rule led by Congress, the country was plagued by corruption, nepotism and poor, unemployed youth were under great stress. “But with the installation of BJP led NDA Government at the Centre, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid focus on development, employment generation, modernising defence forces,  enhancing national prestige at International level, Congress has gone astray,” said Dr. Singh adding, “BJP won’t be distracted by such ploys and would continue working for the welfare of the nation.”
Former Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh announced additional block comprising five rooms for Middle School, Dhanu Parole and additional block comprising of three rooms for Primary School, Bhedu. He said that during short stint of 10 months in the government, BJP sanctioned works amounting to more than Rs. 3 crore in education sector in Billawar Constituency. He urged the students and youth to work for the nation building and bringing back peace and prosperity in the State.
State BJP vice president Mamta Singh speaking on the occasion said that BJP is committed for the welfare of state especially youth, girl child and women. She said that Ladli Beti is the path breaking scheme launched by the Government for upliftment of the girl child. She urged upon the people to take benefit of the schemes launched by NDA Government.
Prominent  among other present were Mandal president Capt.(retd) Om Prakash, dist. general secretary Mukesh Khajuria, dist. Secretary Amrik Singh, district vice president Surinder Singh Bloria, State Executive member Ganesh Basotra and Sarpanch Balak Ram.
