SRINAGAR, June 3: Former Member Parliament and senior National Conference leader, G N Ratanpuri, today said that he was thrown out of his Government allotted house in Pulwama in violation of court orders.
Ratanpuri accused the Finance Minister, Haseeb Drabu, of illegally barging into his house and vandalism. He said that the two room house was allotted illegally by the Deputy Commissioner to Drabu under pressure.
The former MP said that he has paid the rent of the house till November 2014 and he has got stay order from court. He said that Drabu violated the court directions and occupied the house illegally.
The Deputy Commissioner cancelled the allotment (order no 260 DDCP of 2015 dated 02-06-2015) and allotted it to Drabu and eviction was done in no time. Ratanpuri said that when he contacted the DC, he was told that Drabu pressurized him.
Ratanpri said all his belongings including the office records, furniture, household goods, were thrown out on road. He said that he was served no prior notice and described the allotment as illegal and violation of court order.
