JAMMU, Oct 17: In an exemplary act of honesty, an auto driver delivered a lost bag to the owner’s house here today.
According to the reports, a young girl identified as Malika Padha, daughter of Rajesh Padha, resident of Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, today went for shopping in Big Bazaar in Jammu city and after purchasing Diwali gifts and other articles, she took an auto bearing registration number JK02BJ-7803 but before boarding off the auto at Byepass Road, she inadvertently left her bag in the auto.
After few hours, the girl observed that she has lost her bag, which made her extremely worried and panicked, as the lost bag had a good amount of cash, various Identity cards, Aadhaar card and ATMs of various banks, and she had no idea as where she has lost her bag.
However, when the girl started searching for the bag, she came to know that a man has just delivered her lost belongings to her house.
The owner of the bag as well as her family was wondered over the honesty of the auto driver namely Ashwani Pandoh, a resident of Gorakh Nagar, Jammu, who not only returned the lost bag after hectic search of the residence of the girl but also did not take up the reward offered by the girl’s family.
