JAMMU, Mar 11: Former MLC, Ch. Vikram Randhawa inaugurated a Jewellery shop under the name of M/s Yuvraj Rattan Jewellers at Charak Chowk, Channi Himmat area of Gandhi Nagar, Assembly segment along with Kulbir Charak. The newly inaugurated showroom displayed the latest trends in modern jewellery and also the traditional design.
On this occasion, Randhawa said the owner, Gurpreet Singh has taken a step towards becoming Atamnirbhar (self-reliant) by opening the work. Atamnirbhar Bharat, which translates to, self-reliant India or self-sufficient India is a term used by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi in relation to economic development in the country. The term has been used in relation to making India a bigger and more important part of the global economy, pursuing policies that are efficient, competitive, and resilient, and being self-sustaining and self-generating. Atamnirbhar Bharat does not mean “self containment” isolating away from the world or being ‘protectionist’. The Phrase has been used by Government in relation to Union Budget, 2021 said, Randhawa.
The recently budget passed by Lok Sabha has opened new opportunities for youth, expanding new possibilities. He also said that an entrepreneur is a job giver instead of a job taker and adds value to the economy of the country. He further appealed to the youth to take advantage of the various Atamnirbhar schemes launched by the Modi Government.
