JAMMU, Mar 11: On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K Executive Member, Raman Suri, today released the Shiv Bhajan titled “Shiva De Dware” at an impressive function here in presence of the artists, special guests and media persons. The bhajan is sung by acclaimed singer from Jammu, Sonali Dogra, and lyrics written by Neelam Kumari and Ravi Sagar. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and the video has shots of Swami Amarnath Ji, Shiv Khori and many places related to Lord Shiva that mesmerizes the viewers.
Speaking on the occasion, Raman Suri said, there couldn’t have been any better day to release the Bhajan by daughter of Jammu, Sonali Dogra, who has also sung several devotional songs dedicated to Mata Vaishno Devi, Mata Machail, Mata Bawe Wali and also performed around the globe. Appreciating the hardwork that went into making Shiva De Dware, which has been directed and choreographed by Akash Dogra, he said that this bhajan is going to create waves on social media as well.
He said that Jammu is known as the City of Temples and now it is this very city that is producing maximum bhajans dedicated to Gods and Goddesses, which are being liked by people across India as well as all over the world. “We feel honoured to have best singers, lyricists and music directors, who are giving devotees the best Bhajans since several decades’’, he added.
Raman Suri lauded the beautiful works by artists, Sahil (Lucky) for giving music to this Bhajan, Naman for music programming, Vikram Natraj for his act as Lord Shiva, Palvasha Khanam for makeup and Deepak Kumar for assisting in choreography. Honouring Sonali Dogra on the occasion, Raman Suri said, she was the winner of Voice of All India Devotional Song Competition held at Katra and winner of Choona Hai Aasman.
Released by Natya Roots Productions, Suri said, the Bhajan is not only melodious but is so enchanting that it takes one to the abode of Lord Shiva virtually.
Speaking on the occasion, Sonali Dogra complimented Suri for the honour and said that he is committed to social and religious obligations and has been doing great works for the society, be it in times of pandemic, floods or any other natural calamity.
