Ramakrishana Mahasamelan Trust organizes free medical camp

JAMMU, Apr 20: A medical camp was organized at Jagti Migrant Camp by Bhagwan Shri Ramakrishana Mahasamelan Ashram Trust Nagdandi, Anantnag, Kashmir today.
Renowned doctors including Dr Sushil Razdhan, a reputed Neurologist, Dr Rajni Razdan, Gynecologist, Dr R K Sapru, Physician specialist, Dr R K  Chrungoo, Surgeon specialist, Dr  K K Pandita, Physician specialist and Dr Deepak Tickoo, Orthopaedician examined the patients.
They provided free medical consultations to the patients of the camp. The inmates of the camp highly appreciated the efforts of the doctors and the Trust.  During the camp 210 patients were examined.
Prof A K Ogra, Managing Trustee said that their effort of providing relief to the inhabitants of the camp would continue in future as well.  In addition to free medical services, Trust proposes to run carrier counseling camps for the children of migrant camps to provide a broader perspective to the children in pursuing their professional carriers.
He said expert councilors from various vocational fields would be requested to provide valuable inputs to the participants.
Prof Ogra complimented Dr Jitender Kaul and staff of Jagti dispensary and volunteers of the camp in rendering their assistance.
Dr Sheetal Singh senior renowned surgeon and former Principal GMC Jammu also provided a good quality of medicines to the Trust which was handed over to the incharge Medical Officer of the camp dispensary.
