JAMMU, Dec 30: MLA Jammu East and J&K BJP’s chief whip, Rajesh Gupta today toured Ward No 19 Chand Nagar to take stock of the various developmental needs of the area.
MLA Rajesh Gupta was received by the prominent citizens of Chand Nagar who apprised him about the problem of nallah and other developmental requirements of the area.
Chairman of the hoteliers’ association, Inderjeet Khajuria, conveyed the MLA about the problem of the toilet blocks and the upgradation of the lane.
The Municipal Market Association Chand Nagar apprised the MLA and JMC Commissioner about the various problems in the area including the black topping of road and the market area.
Rajesh Gupta gave instant instructions for the installation of a hand pump and the black topping of the municipal market.
The officials who accompanied the MLA include Commissioner, Dr Manmohan Singh, Joint Commissioner, RS Jamwal, Joint Commissioner, Kushal Chand, Health Officer, Dr Anita, XEn Joginder Pal and AEE Virender Singh Pathania.
The MLA while speaking on the occasion assured the people of the Chand Nagar that all the facilities would be provided at their doorsteps and in the coming year more developmental activities would be undertaken in the area.
Commissioner, Manmohan Singh, while speaking on the occasion, assured the MLA that all the problems in the area would be solved within a definitive time frame.
The MLA was also accompanied by Pradhan, Dalbir Singh, Citizens Cooperative Bank Director, Charangeet Singh and other BJP leaders including Prof Shyam, Ramesh, PC Gupta, Gopal, Gurcharan Singh, Anil Gupta, Brij Lal, Vinod, Vinayb Gupta, Rajesh Nischal and Swaran Singh.
