Bovines smuggling bid foiled, 12 cattle rescued

SAMBA, Dec 30: Ghagwal police foiled bovines smuggling bid and rescued 12 cattle.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Ghagwal police station laid a naka during the intervening night of December 29 and 30 and intercepted a truck bearing registration number JK02W-3567.
During checking, police rescued 12 cattle from the truck, while the accused driver managed to escape from the spot taking benefit of the darkness.
A case under FIR Number 106/16 under relevant sections has been registered at Ghagwal police station and hunt has been launched to nab the accused driver.
Police team led by SHO Ghagwal police station SI Rajeshwar Singh foiled the bovines smuggling bid under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Varinder Singh and SSP Joginder Singh.
