NOWSHERA, Sept 14: BJP State President, Ravinder Raina here today started the construction work of Daber-Kheri-Dharat road.
Speaking on the occasion, Raina said that laying major roads was dream of Bharat Ratna, former Prime Minister Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
He also said that the present road will provide connectivity to the villages like Dabber, Kheri, Mangal Devi and Dharat areas falling under the Nowshera constituency.
He said that this particular road 12 km in length will be constructed with a budget Rs. 7 crore and 70 lakh under Prime Minister Gram Sadak Yojana.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were AEE Nazeer Hussain, AE Vijay Kumar, Sarpanch Puran Sharma, Sarpanch Mohinder Pal Sudan, Kashmiri Lal Choudary and Chairman Babu Ram.
