JAMMU, Sept 14: MLC Vikram Randhawa here today inaugurated a lane in Ajit Nagar, Rani Bagh near Airport.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLC said after he learned from the people about the need of lane, he asked the concerned officers to prepare a detailed project report and then he released Rs 4.5 lakh from his CDF for the construction of the lane which now stands completed.
He urged upon the public to maintain this lane properly as it is their property.
Randhawa further said that BJP is committed for all round development of the people irrespective of caste, colour and creed.
Elaborating about the welfare schemes launched by the Centre Randhawa urged the people to come forward and avail the benefits of welfare schemes. He assured the people to carry out more development in the area.
Those present on the occasion included Pt Ashok Khajuria, Pt Surinder Sharma, Vijay Sharma, Pitamber Sharma, Pushkar Sharma, Daljeet Singh, Paramjit Singh, Harbans Singh, Inder Singh and others.
