Raina compliments PM for Union ministers’ visit

JAMMU, Jan 17: President J&K BJP, Ravinder Raina has termed the scheduled visit of Central ministers to the J&K a step in right direction to boost the development in the entire region.
In a letter to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, Raina while complimenting him for taking keen interest in development of J&K UT and welfare of its people said the visit is attributed to the development vision of PM.
Raina in his letter said “I, on behalf of myself, my party colleagues and general public of the entire Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir express sincere gratitude and thanks for deputing 38 Union ministers to hold public darbars in every nook and corner of the UT of J&K during the month of January”.
It said “this is for the first time that Union ministers will hold public darbars in the remotest areas of the Union Territory at block and Panchayat level and listened the suggestions, demands and grievances of the people and thereby know their specific local requirements at first hand,. This will also give the concerned Ministers feedback in respect of local needs and enable them to ensure initiation of most effective and genuine action plan for their welfare and upliftment”, it added.
It said the local administration will get galvanized and energized at village level. Terming it a revolutionary step for the welfare and wellbeing of the people of J&K, the letter said this exercise is unique and one of its own type and reveals PM’s total commitment to ensure that all the welfare schemes of the Government of India reach every person of the UT.
It said the nature of this move is such that it will benefit all the regions and the people irrespective of caste, creed and political affiliation.
It said the advancement of the welfare of all the patriotic people irrespective of their political affiliations, region and religion is the article of faith of the BJP and the salutary step taken by Narendra Modi is reflective of the same. After revocation of Article 35A and 370, the Government held elections for Panchayats, Local Bodies and Block Development Councils and now this visionary step of holding public darbars truly and actually reflects the empathy and the consideration of BJP for the entire populace of J&K. This also fulfils the promise made by the Government to the people of UT of J&K to drastically overhaul and better the governing culture of this region, the letter added.
Raina also complimented the PM or this unique and innovative good governance measure.
